Timespliters 2 has co-op and is a pretty fun game. Short but fun. Brute Force has co-op but its just an average game. Some fun to be had.

Yeah, Baldur's Gate and D & D are RPG co-op. Sudeki is also, but that was a little slow for me. Other games include Deathrow, some FPS I can't think of at the moment, Return of the King(rent, don't buy), Dynasty Warriors 4 is a lot of fun and pretty long so far, sport games, and Hunter the Reckoning.

Conflict Desert Storm 1 and 2 are 4 player co-op squad games. Conflict 1 is a platinum game and two still sells well. You can play it with 2 players and you each have a AI parter that works with you. But it's a lot more fun with 4. You can do it one Xbox as well.

Brute Force is alright, 4 man squad co-op.

Ghost Recon and Island Thunder have 2 player co-op on one Xbox.

    Yeah, Halo and it's 2 player co-op

Project Gotham Racing 1 and 2 have up to 4 players on one Xbox.

Serious Sam has a 4 man deathmatch and a 2 man co-op mode.

Kung Fu Chaos is up to 4 players in competitive or co-op

WWE Raw has a 4 player exihibition mode.

WWE Raw 2 has the same and a 2-4 player career season mode.

Hunter Redeemer and Hunter Reckoning have 2-4 player co-op.

James Bond Everything or Nothing has a 2 player co-op

James Bond Agent Under Fire has a 2-4 deathmatch mode.

There are other games, but these are the ones I've either owned or played before.

Co-Op Offerings at the moment are pritty dry, but soon Halo 2 & Doom 3 will be out which your bound to have alot of fun with.

In the meantime, I think Serious Sam is and Rainbow Six. Maybe? I dunno...

People who do not have XBL will not experience the co op mode in Doom 3. Kingdom under Fire has co op but its XBL or possibly system link, I think I read that somewhere.
Anyway SWAT has a good split screen co op
Serious Sam has one as well.
Easy to pick up, hard to put down.

If Combate Elite came out, I would've recommended it, but it appears Acclaim is going belly-up. If your lookin for Diablo style game, Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 or 2. If you haven't played the first, get it first. The graphics aren't that much different as well as the gameplay (excluding the whole crystal thing in number 2). D&D Heroes is 4 players and I had a lot of fun with that one. If you haven't played DW4, get that. I enjoy it more than Samurai Warriors.

I highly recommend Brute Force, Rainbow Six 3, and playing through Halo again on legendary.

Edit: playing through Halo again on legendary. <- again. It will be a blast.

Don't forget about your Fighters, man! Everyone said some killer games but one of my favorite Multiplayer games is easily Dead or Alive 3.
Soul Caliber 2 is also good but a button masher.
I'm totally waiting on DOOM III as a great Co-op, HALO 2 as well.
I love Sports Titles. ESPN Football will kick butt & it's $20.00! Hockey, Tennis, Golf.
Your golden man. Now invite all your friends over. Then when you get LIVE tell them all to go home!

I mean, & it could be due to preference:
I rule @ DOA3. I can kick anyones arse. I love that game. Everything is so tight. I noticed that with enough practice you can rule at that game.
Soul Caliber on the other hand, dating back all the way to the Dreamcast, it didn't matter how long you'd played it, your friend could jump on it & totally whoop-whoop!
Which was good when we're all playing with a million different people, passing the controller, Allah - Old school "Nineties arcade style", but when I buy a game I want to learn completely unstoppable moves & techniques, not just - If I attack you vertically you can attack me horizontilly! Hahahah!
Like I said, maybe you're Neo in the Soul Caliber realm, but what I notice is that the guys who stratagize (Myself) & the guys that Mash are all on the same page with that game.
It dates back to the DC. I wish it didn't. That game is cool with the weopons & all, but come on. I'd rather play Sreet Fight Alpha, man. I'm sure glad DOAU is coming out.

You obviously don't know what you are talking about.

If anything is a button masher, its DOA. DOA was just a matter of countering (which was far to easy)

Soul calibur on the other hand, is the complete opposite of what you are saying. If a veteran player is playing a noob, the noob doesnt stand a chance.

Just ask casper when he played me
You won how many rounds? None...

The fact that you have friends that never played before beating you makes your opinion as a "seasoned SC player" Obsolete.

"but when I buy a game I want to learn completely unstoppable moves & techniques, not just - If I attack you vertically you can attack me horizontilly! Hahahah!"

If you can become "unstoppable" in any fighting game it's soul calibur. You can end a round with a few well placed unblockable attacks, not even giving your opponent the opportunity to strike. If you think SC is as shallow as your comments, than I'm convinced that you really have no clue on how to play SC.

    This deserves a:

SC is shallow and DOA has depth

Even the man who is in charge of the DOA series, Itagaki, has even been criticized for creating such a beautiful fighting game, that lacks DEPTH.

OK, NEO JJAX... I doubt it. I experienced that with Soul Caliber, You experienced it with DOA3. Maybe we just prefer the control Layout, because I can slaughter anyone @ DOA3, & you with SCII.
I just gave SC (1) Way to much time in the beginning. When it didn't reward me back, I got mad & didn't see an immediate difference with SCII.
DOA 3 on the other hand...
Jjax, this can go on for days. I'm glad you like SCII... Even though it sucks.
