SOme news I have recieved by a gamespot employe on RAW!

well first off theres no big news. like hiac or more arenas or characters. so chill out. but there could be!

Ive been long close friends with a guy named Giancarlo Varanini who used to live in my neighborhood for a couple years. maybe 3

well anyways he was talking about wrestlmania and I popped up the question, how come raw's graphics looked flushed out compared to wrestlemanias graphics.

heres what he said, Its quoted "Well Raw happens to have a much higher poly count than WMX8 has at the moment, probably around 3 times more, but that can change since there into the early stages of development. Raws poly count, lighting effects and shaders are a true challenge even for our high res digital cameras. about 60-70 % of xbox games are distorted and wont look as good as in person."

so you are saying that the screens we are seeing are blurry compared to when you see the game being played live? raw still looks amazing from the screens i see,an im sure they will look even better in person

yup according to him there is so much detail in raw that there cameras cant get pics without major distortion.

No matter what screenshots you look at, it will not look as good in-game. They blow the screenshots up, for every game. Especially in magazines. So it will look alot better when you actually play the game.

I would like to know what is so great about the wrestling games? (im not knocking them) Do I need to be a fan of the sport first, cause I just dont find wwf type games any fun.

I've always thought they were fun, and I really do not like wrestling at all. It's hilarious when you have a bunch of friends over and you start beating on each other for long periods of time. It's like a fighting game in a ring, and you just have to pin your KOed opponent...

i dont like wrestling, but the games are really fun. especially 4 player. me and my friends stayed up until like 4 in the morning playing a wrestling game.
