As of right now, there is no confirmation of it coming to the XBox - at least for this year. What happens the next fiscal year (Spring of '05 and beyond) is still anyone's guess because Rockstar hasn't said a thing about it yet.

Your guess is as good as mine, I would say no later than around Christmas 05. Any later and there would be no point, as the next set of generation consoles would kick in and suffer sales.

I've heard March 2005 as the release date for the Xbox version, but since they havn't even confirmed a Xbox version who knows. But if the game some how turns out not to be on Xbox I might break down and get a PS2, I like the series that much.

It shouldn't be as bad though because its not as much a rumor as when GTA 3 was supposed to come out and took like two years.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'd rather wait a year for a great game than have crap right now. It's most probably coming to the Xbox, you just have to be patient...or buy it for the obsolete inferior console. I will choose the former.
