Some buddies from work preordred Halo 2 from one EBGames around here. I happened to preordered it from the other. I changed my preorder to the one they are going to so I can ride with them at midnight. But the leader of the bunch is going TUESDAY at midnight...

I'm almost 99.9% sure that its monday-tuesday when its on sale at midnight, right?
He's going tuesday-wednesday. Someone tell me (Variation you work at EB ) what day it is, for clarification?

Monday into Tuesday Midnight
or
Tuesday into Wednesday at Midnight

I think he's mistaken because most sites say "Ships 11/9/04" and he thinks it'll be in stores the following day... like most games usually are.

Tuesday at 12:01AM (midnight) is when it's sellable. he has is days mixxed up or meant monday just AFTER midnight.

I know that some stores will break the street date, but they will get in huge crap

The guy thought it was Tue. - Wed. but he checked and it is Monday into Tuesday.
Seeing as how it'll be on a tuesday I won't have to call off work (I don't work tuesdays), but I'll have to be "sick" for school.

I am curious as to how many people will be "sick" on this day. I know quite a few that will be for our school alone.

I think I'm going to have to get my Mom to go to EB when it opens on the 9th. I might possibly be able to get my friend's mom to pick me up a copy if my friend can convince her to go for him at midnight. It sucks not having a license

same here, i would have to be really lucky to go at midnight. and my mom prolly wouldnt go during the day she would be like "but i dont know wut to ask them" and im like just say HALO 2 and they will know exactly wut ur talkin about. ill prolly have to wait until after school that day. it does suck not having a liscense, and not being old enough

I took tuesday off just so I could get my hands on this game...of course my job didn't give me my requested day off...but they still gave it to me anyways. Haha. I just lucked out that my days off seem to be Sunday's and Tuesday's right now. Woot. Here I come Covenant to kick your little fargin bastages!
