Is Mech Assault 2 worth it?

I heard from numerous people that if you didn't like the first one, you won't like the second, and if you got bored of the first one, this is the same after a while?

The from other people I heard it's a lot better than the first and they didn't like the first one but love the second one

i didn't like the first one and i love the second... i just never get time to play right now... meh...

hard to juggle real life and gaming these days i find...

It is well worth it. The first one i didnt play at all (maybe 5 hours) just because i was used to the Computer Mechwarrior. This game is hella' fun and i havent found myself bored with this game at all.

Yeah the 1st one sucked, I mist have played Story mode once and got bored then tried to go online and got bored then switched off. It's all dusty in the little cardboard sleeve it came in with my XBL kit...

i have the first... it was okay... i respect it for establishing a fan base for live... but i saw that it got a bad review... that knocked my confidence in the game, i know i shouldnt judge on one review (it got 2/5) il give it a go... i was hyped up for this one... im sure it will stand up

The one you get at the start of the game can grab onto walls and hang there as your jets replenish, but thats like the battle armor, not a mech really.
