That's just an old demo unit from 2000. It was used to show off the ping-pong, Malice, and butterfly demos that you can still find floating around.

I doubt this thing had much more than a HD and graphics card at this early stage of development (a CPU wasn't even specified at the time this pic was taken).

anyone read the egm issue where it like previewed the xbox? it had alot of early designs and some games. on the cover it said: xbox revealed

Where would you put the CDs and where are the controllor ports. It looks pretty, but that wont cut it.
