Fable and Project Gotham headed to Xbox 2

Several of the biggest Xbox franchises are already planned for Xbox 2, according to Microsoft Game Studios boss Shane Kim, who has confirmed that Fable, Halo and Project Gotham Racing are all en route to the next-gen console.

Speaking in an interview on the official Xbox.com website, Kim said that he was "very proud" of MGS' track record in terms of the creation of new intellectual properties, and that these will provide Xbox with an "exclusive competitive advantage" in the next generation.

"Without giving away all the surprises we have in store," he commented, "gamers that love franchises like Halo, Fable, and Project Gotham Racing can safely assume we will continue to invest in them as we move into the next generation."

A new Fable? Fantastic! It was short, but it was a great game, the soundtrack especially.

Hopefully Fable 2 will be longer then 25 minutes and include everything its supposed to include.

Fable was a huge let down, I wouldn't miss it. What Xbox really needs is a final fantasy.

!! pgr3!! i want some pics, if it squeezed that detail out of xbox1 i cant imagine how good it will look on x2!!
but im not shallow, it is the gameplay and multiplayer that i love pgr for

i put like 10 hours into half life 2 and that took 6 years to make...your argument sucks.

As for ninjermy, how can they make project gotham 3 better than project gotham 2? that game was a damn near perfect racing game. I gues si you add more cars, and more..custimazation? i dont know, the game aint really about customization, its about knowing how to drive you ****. With style.

I have no clue what they can do to pgr, othger than more cars, an dbetter graphics.

60 hours compared to the hundreds we were promised? Fable runs out of things to do. Owning realestate and playing blackjack isnt exactly entralling enough to keep me playin when I beat the game in about 18hours...Hopefully BBB won't suffer from foot-in-mouth syndrome with their next attempt.

I think my opinion on Fable will be more rounded out once Lost Chapters is released.

No matter what they try and do, though, BBB will NOT make a game that rivals Oblivion. It's for sure the killer RPG next-gen. I hope that we'll be able to make our own mods as you can in Morrowind on PC. If that's so, Oblivion could go on forever.

Now what I want to know, where's my B.C.???????

Hahaha 60 hrs! I couldn't even force myself to make it through the campaign twice let alone play it for 60 hrs. I would rather go back to playing old Zelda games (I am talking regular nintendo old) then play another piss poor "quest" in Fable.

It was so ridiculous, it wasn't as non-linear as they promised, not by a long shot. You could either be evil or good, do the same handful of quests get almost the exact same results. Sure you look different in the end of each game but you have basically played the exact same game over and over.

No what xbox needs is some of those lovely anime rpgs.

i thought fable was great!
but they should have had downloadable content, so we could get constantly updated quests, and new areas... now if they had done that, it would have been cool
