    Default Sensitivity

I need a sensativity. Right now, my gameplay is way too inconsistant for my tastes. Can someone please help me? Here's a little bit about my style of play:

    Controller: S
    Weapon of Choice: BR
Grenade of Choice: Plasma (i must have my sticks)
Semi-aggressive but don't mind taking things slow
I want to be able to turn around pretty quickly,
but without sacraficing accuracy due to wildness
Snipe occasionally (been working on my no scope)
    Freelancer most of the time
Objective player (i like to be ball/flag/bomb carrier)

so hopefully someone can give me a sensitivity to try based on that info. But i basically want to be pretty fast but just enough for me to be a steady and sure shot, in control of where and whom i shoot. THANx

    whatever works best for you.
i started out at 8 and have gradually moved to 3.
i think having a lower ensitivity helps steady your aim with the BR...but some guys rape with high sensitivities...so it's all about what works best for you.

a low sensitivity can be a drawback in close quaters, though. i find people with higher sensitivities are able to react a little quicker and get the jump on you.

and try out green thumb button layout. it's pretty cool. i think i like it...the melee is moved to the right thumbstick, and zooming is moved to the 'b' button. my melee's are better now, but my sniping isn't quite as good since i'm not used to having to reach over and hit the 'b' button to scope in. so my reactions are a little slower to some extent as far as sniping goes. although i'm not bad with the sniper(it's h2 afterall), i'm more of a BR and close quaters guy than a sniper i suppose....so i think i'll stick with green thumb untill i can wire up a new button near one of the triggers for melee so i don't have to take my thumb off the right stick to melee or scope.

I for some crazy reason have to go to 10. good for me when I need to spin quickly, and fast turning jumps for me too. plus, I usually don't snipe unless I'm in a good spot. on PC though I leave both at 3.

I just wish the sensitivity level in Halo 2 was similar to Halo CE's.

Manuevering the Halo 2 MC feels heavy at times...and, while I am at it, the Rocket Launcher feels light. Anyone else notice that?

It seems opposite in Halo CE to me...

So true, IT's strange so many things either move too fast or too slow ex:mc, the tank etc.

I guess its to make up for people with weaker skill level who can't exactly hit on target.

use anything from 4-6 to start out with, but its mostly what you feel most confortable yourself with.

Play with a high level(10) then reduce it to a lvl like 7-8, it works a charm

I used to have mine set at 7, and it was working good for me, then I took a week or two off, and when I came back, I had to put it down to a five because I was doing so bad. Just recently I moved it to a four because I was jumping around too much w/ the sniper. It's definetly helped my sniping a lot, but it is really slow to turn around with.

I play with 6. I used to play with 10, and while turning around that fast was awesome, I couldn't snipe at all. So I went down to 7, and now 6 and it works pretty well.

    Thanks Spartan for the sig

I keep mine around six since I don't snipe. What your sensitivity is can really differ depending on what situation you're in.

Wow, I tried the 10 and it is pretty nice. im starting to get used to it and starting to play in matchmaking now. And I must say, overall, I am pleased with my performance thus far. Having 10 really helped discipline me into using "touch" in my control. Soon im gonna move down to a 9 and I'll probably end up an 8. So that i may have a chance with the sniper rifle. wow, im loving this.

ooooo, wow, that is a very GOOD idea but it if you think about it, it would be kinda confusing, counter productive, and just plain hard to constantly having to adjust to your new sensitivity.
