What is the official release date of Morrowind?

I've seen many diferent release dates at many different sites. Does anyone know the "official" date?

thats my 16th bday..lol
i was really looking forward
to this game everyday and
now we have to wait 2 more
months..

Actually , folks, the official release date for Morrowwind: The Elder Scrolls is April 23, not the 24th.

Ouch, a little harsh...make me wonder who the real idiot is here, just because someone is one day off, and who knows if Mirrorwind will even be out by then, its already been delayed so much...

pebbles, you were right...the release date is the 24th...and just because you didnt say the shipping date as well doesnt make you wrong

Pebbles, I wasn't ragging on you about the official release date. The 23 IS probably the shipping date. I don't know why stores always list the shipping date as the release date when we won't see the game until the NEXT day. Anyway, I'm sorry if it seemed like I was ragging on you or saying it was your fault.

from now on..lol
i still just cant wait for this game..
(and to think a few weeks ago i thought
id be getting it this day)
anyways..around 2 1/2 months left!!
