Man this is rough, I am so looking forward to the 360, but that is a little expensive. I hope it is a mistake!

Even my current PC cost less than that and it can happily play Farcry and Half-Life 2...

I will wait until Amazon publish the UK price before I believe it...

yeah that's the usuall problem all the consoles cost nothing in the states, and tons in the europe ..

Believe me, no one around here will be shelling out that ammount for the X360, especialy without the hardrive. Amazon UK should announce their estimate price soon enough, at which point I'll pre-order.

Play seemed to have screwed up on this one.

thanks for the offer mattgame-XBA, but that just makes getting games more difficult, I would have to import everything. I am hoping that Amazon UK will have a much more user-friendly price in mind.

Play are usually very good at offering a decent price on 'stuff', I am praying that it is just a very, very rough guess, other than some rrp that they have received from MS, waaay before anyone else...
