Thread: Marvel Nemesis

    Default Marvel Nemesis

well this was one of my most annticipated games this year....then i saw the reviews, and well, they weren't praising it too high. Teamxbox gave it an 8.2, but it got a 6.4 from gamespot and 5 something from IGN, so i got worried. But i just got my OXM issue and i played this demo and i thought it was so fun. The reviews say there aren't a lot of moves, but if you just combine things (like L and B, R and X, R and B, A, R, and B, L and Y, etc.) then there are actually a lot of things the characters can do.

so has anyone here actually played the full version?

i bought it and even though EA tried to make an amazing marvel fighting game, it still fell short. graphics of course were great but as for general gameplay. wow, i cant count how many times i passed what seemed to be the same mission over and over in story mode. imo, they should have left it more of a fighter game and less of a do the same mission over and over again to unlock more characters. my overall rating for the game would be a 6/10. give it a try, but maybe rent it first. i returned the game.

I can tell this one is more fun to play with your buddy, the story mode is just another way to get you more characters to fight, so repetitive.

I would say that the graphics are great and the fighting looks good. They'll do better the best time.

I played the demo, it seemed like it would get old fast. Graphics looked cool though

It's a shame but these guys must have had very limited budgets because this could have been much better.

I got this for my PSP a few weeks ago. I think its even more fun on there but my son (Also 4) is loving this game. Spiderman vs all. He loves it and the new Hulk game. I cant believe how good he is for his age.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a min. and it feels like an hour; play a cool game for an hour and it feels like a min. Brevity's def. of relativity.

Sure one button to do all the trick, you can call it button-masher.
