Shenmue 3 Coming To XBox 360?

These photos showed up on the IGN Insider message boards. Apparently they are taken from a developer listing that was pulled from the web. We all know how these rumors get started and how they usually end, but we report them anyways. Feast your eyes on what could possibly be the first proof of the next iteration of the beloved Shenmue franchise for XBox 360.

Awesome! I don't know about you, but I loved the whole feel of Shenmue 2... 3 should be sweet.

This wil be the final installment into the story! The conclusion all us Shenmue fans have waited so long for! I have been waiting to whoop Lan Di's butt for a LOOONG time! And to see if Ryu finally picks the girl of his life! Oh I despertely hope it comes to 360!

ahh man I hope to God this is coming for us...and yeah there was speculation, I believe even on the front page of this site a while back there was news about it being released. Shenmue 1 & 2 are definitely on my top 5 list of favorites right next to Morrowind and the Halos, so I'm definitely super-excited about this possibility

The rumor that circulated earlier was that Shenmue III will contain the full adventure, beggining with the murder of Ryo's father, so it won't require that you played both or either Shenmue 1 and 2. Despite that two thirds of the game will be shenmue 1 and 2, the whole game will be built for next generation games.

crazy. I played through the first one. It was weird. I never played through the second one, and not that excited about the third, unfortunatly.
