Question What are you doing with your old console?

Well were basically into the nex generation of gaming now so what are you going to be doing with your "last" generation consoles?

Mine's already up for sale. I know I won't get a whole lot for it, but I also know that it will be losing it's position on the media stand and thus will never be plugged in again :P

I keep all my systems. Wont get a 360 till I feel the need for one. Maybe once Oblivion is released or Halo 3 is announced. Even if everything was BC I couldn't take the hit on getting like 80 bucks out of something I paid 300 for. So the list keeps growing:

    Vectrex
    Atari 2600 (2)
    NES (2)
    Snes
    Sega Genesis + 32X addon
    Nintendo 64 (2)
    Xbox
    Playstation 2
    GBA
    GBA SP

Toss them or sell them...I have 2.

I may use one for music for downstairs. I have a pretty cool set-up in my house downstairs...the entire bottom floor of my house has speakers in the ceiling and controlled by a central Receiver. Each room has a seperate volume control, which I think is pretty tight...so, by burning a bunch of music to the hard-drive, I can use that to play music during parties and the like.

As for my other XBox, I don't know yet...I may give it to one of my nephews or something...

I'm probably going to take my Xbox to my condo in Colorado so when I'm down there and bored I can play some Xbox.

I just got done selling my xbox and some games and accessories for $190 on ebay, and I charged $25 shipping.

I just shipped it off today. The guy is really excited to receive it. I wonder why he wants a normal xbox right now when the 360 is coming out in a week...

I'm going to make it a ''enhance'' Xbox.

Or give it to my little sis.

My old Xbox I am giving it to my little cousin’s that come over to play it now. The good thing is that it's not going to leave my house it's going in the living room so if I still want to play it which I don't think it will happen I can just walk down the hallway and play it. Sounds like a lot of work so I will stay in my room and play the 360. hahahah

Probably sell the xbox and all non bc games and put the cash towards some 360 games. When 360 comes i won't have time to play the old games and besides, my parents want me to sell it before i go spending my money on something else. The trade is worth it

The original Xbox is a classic video game console...the first game machine to ship with a HD...superior sound options...networking...xboxlive made the PS2 seem ancient...
I will echo t howell and say that I ll be holdin on to my original box until the release of xbox 4.
Heck, I still play transworld surf, DOA 3, PGR2, JSRF...I still believe xbox2 is being forced upon us a little too early...right now, I'm more pumped to pay 10-20 bucks for a game than 60-70 after being brokeoff for more than 400 bucks for xbox2(besides, I want to get a few reviews before deciding whether or not to wait for the 1st price break)
I'm yearning to read XBA members first wave of input on the differences and enhancements between the boxes.

I'm keeping mine. After a while, when like Xbox 3 or 4 comes around I'll probably end up selling it just like my PS and DC.
