GameStop sucks. I pre-ordered mine in early August and I'm not getting it until the much maligned "second shipment."

Around here our local store didn't even get sold out on the launch date, in fact they only sold like 4 of them out of the 10 they got. I don't plan on getting one though untill the sole purpose in the first place is untill Oblivion comes out.

Soooo pissed right now. We called this futureshop across the city they said they had 4 basic's left. My bro and I go to the bank take out 500$ each, drive 25mins to futureshop stand around for like 25 minutes only to find out the **** on the phone was wrong and they were for preordered people.

I didn't try to get one at launch. Could of easily got one it seems now. My friend got one last night. He was 16 out 35 in line I think. 32 non preorders were given out I think. Oh well, I can wait a while I guess.

covey, i was really pumped but after all the 8. whatever reviews, i decided to invest my monmey elsewhere. Sparty got one, so ill be at his house if any of the launch games were under rated by the review poeple.

Some Best Buys here still had core systems until around 11am. I've also heard that a few of the less though-of vendors like Superstore didn't have lineups until the crowds migrated from the tech stores over.
