Private Chat on the 360

This is for those who don't have the 360 yet...and maybe for those who have it and didn't know this, but, there is a new feature that kicks so much ass that it's not funny!

You can select "Private Chat" in the XBox Live menu (enabled by hitting the center "X" logo on the controller).

By doing so, you can scroll over to your Friend's List, select your friend, and hit "Private Chat". It will send a Private Chat greeting to your friend and you can talk with that person (or persons) even if you eject your game, put in another game, etc, as long as your console and their console is on. This is so kick ass, especially if a person somehow gets disconnected from a game or something...

I'm really excited about this...no more confusion about "hey, what happened to _____?" anymore or other reasons.

I thought I would share that with you guys...very cool!

I can't even get my "live" hooked up..... Say's I need a DNS server number and I have to get that off my provider..... Too lazy to call that now, so ehhh!

Yes, but if you wanted to do anything you had to leave your chat session. What our friend Maxy is saying is that now you can change games and do all sorts of browsing and stuff while chatting.

it's awesome. me and snoop e were doin it the other day. i was playin madden and he was in Cod2 campain.

you can even do it while watcing dvds

I was at home playing my friend (who was at my house) at NBA Live...
A friend of mine sent me a private chat request. So I accepted, and I was able to chat with him while I was playing Live 06 and he was playing NFS Most Wanted

As far as I can tell you cannot add more then one friend to the private chat. It says for a one-on-one chat do this bla bla bla. But you do in fact have 4 Channels you can have at one time, plus the game channel.
