Default Sony Adds Support For Xbox 360

Another way for Sony to support the Xbox 360. Literally.

As has been reported, many of the heating issues related to the Xbox 360 have centered around the console's gianormous power supply getting too hot when placed on the floor. Well, guess what box seems to be custom made to help the Xbox 360's power block stay cool? That's right: Sony's PSP box. It is an absolute 100% perfect fit.

    What you guys think

    Thanks FalseProphecy

Odd. The power supply doesn't have any ventilation on the bottom of it, so putting it on the floor shouldn't make things any worse. The trick is to make sure the front and back of it are clear. The side with the green LED has a fan venting it out (put your ear up to it and you can hear it), and the opposite side acts as intake. Block or restrict airflow to either of these and you could overheat it.

The PSP box and the power brick seem to be a match made in heaven.

I think using that box would increase your chance of a fire

HAaha. I think so too! It looks like Microsoft doesn't know how to install power into machines... take the Xbox Power Cord Replacement story for example..

I'd rather have a bigger console than the power-brick. Stupid power-brick. I hope you burn. No, don't burn!!

Wow, I think I'll have to move mine...my power supply is sitting on top of my Surround Sound Receiver in an enclosed area so it is hidden... I think I'll shift it to an area with a little better airflow...

Not only is the power brick big enough to beat someone over the head with and serioiusly injure them, it's also a fire hazard! Oh t3h noez.
