A quick Q: why should I buy a game that is already on Xbox?

Ok..I've been wondering for a while now, and here it is:

Need for Speed Most Wanted (for example) is out on the Xbox and the Xbox 360. What would make me want to get it for the 360 instead of the Xbox? Are the graphics any better? Extra Gameplay... HDTV? What?

Yah, I think that a game like PD0 (only for the 360) would be able to show more potential, right>?

Well, I went through that with Burnout Revenge, and I'm waiting for the 360 version. I think the 360 has alot more to offer than just graphics with games, the On-Line capabilities and HD, for me, are wortht he wiat.

For the most part, it probably isn't worth completely re-paying for a game to get it for the 360. In particular, most of the sport titles being ported to 360 don't even look all that better. NFS does add quite a bit in the way of graphics, but little else (aside from gamerpoints, which are rather trivial anyway). Burnout Revenge will be adding a number of extra features, on top of revamping the graphics...so it might be a little more enticing.

I'm sure we'll continue to see titles released across both Xboxes among other platforms, and there won't be any reason to buy it twice, just get it for the 360 if you have one. If you only have an Xbox and are planning to get a 360...well, then things get trickier.

honestly in terms of games like tonyhawk and gun and most of this years ea titles dont bother...burnout on the other hand yeah im gettin that one i know that they try when it comes to games unlike their publisher ...if you havent tried it i recomend condemned to anyone who has a 360 and is into horror/survival games...awesome and disturbing like the sucess of coldplay disturbing

Madden on the 360 is completely different than on regular XBox. It actually feels different to play due to the new engine. The graphics are amazingly better, not just a port.

I completed nfs most wanted on the first xbox before i got a 360....when i bought a 360 i also bought nfs most wanted (love nfs).....on the first xbox the gamplay was fun and the grafics was crap....on 360 the gameplay is fun and the grafics is amazing.................Off topic: does anyone know when burnout is out for 360??
