New Shipments

I'm planning on going to Best Buy to get an Xbox 360 tommorrow morning, I have two questions.

1. Do you think that there will be a line? I don't think its been advertised or highly-spread that they will have them tommorrow.

2. Do you think eBay prices on a premium system (currently averaging between $750-$800 + S&H) will go up, down, or stay the same between the 18th and Christmas? I'm hoping to get at least $750 out of it on eBay and then go buy one for myself with like 5 games ASAP after christmas.

Best Buy released its flyer this week with the Xbox 360 add and the "Minimum 20 per store" tag on it. Its also been all over any Xbox forum you may frequent. There will be lines most definitely.

The systems are starting to show up in stores more regularly....I only htink a hanful of the ebay systems will get decent prices anymore and that will gradually decline more and more. I was at Walmart last night and they were putting out about 25 systems around 11 PM EST. So the systems are coming, and i would expect another big shipment across the nation next week just before the holiday.

Yea, there will definetly be lines, there were around 15 people out there at about 6PM when I went by there. I've pretty much given up on getting one tomorrow, but I'll probably go check late tonight or early tomorrow anyways and just check out the lines.

I don't get the thing about lines.. when the doors open, what happens to the line? don't people just go rushing into the store to get them? if so, what benefit do they have by standing in the line for 12 hours as oppposed to arriving right at store open?

my dad went to every bestbuy story with a 25mile radius from my house on sunday at 9 am and there was not a single xbox 360 they were all sold out. If a new shipment comes out before christmas im going out 5 oclock in the morning and get one.

is this **** ****ing serious. I have still not gotten my hands on a 360 and one of my friends that he has heard from a reliable source that new shipments come out on jan26 which is too ****en long.

This thread like so many other is so much crap..... Anyways...


So I pre-ordered a system and I didn't get mine in the first shipment... BUT it did however come in on December 12th....

Luckily I had won my xbox so I had it on Nov 19th, but a friend of mine was still in need of a system because he was to stupid to pre-order one himself .... so he used my pre-order to get his system.



All these threads are the same "bla bla bla when are they shipping bla bla bla" They have been shipping this whole time. On the 12th when I picked up that pre-order the manager told me that shipment finally fulfilled the pre-orders at that store.... so I'd imagine that most stores up to x-mas (and maybe still today) are trying to fill the pre-orders... and I know the store I got mine at the Manager wasn't giving shipping info to customers that didn't pre-order...
