which is the BEST racing game?

hi all!

Which is the "best" (subjective i know) racing game on the xbox?
The xbox is going to be released here in the uk soon.. so I want
to know what to get.
i'm not particular into smashing up cars? Something slick, very
playable and with a1 graphics and I really mean EXCELLENT graphics.

I'm definetly going to buy halo & doa3 so that'll keep me busy for a while.
So if there is no excellent car game available right now.
Which racing games should i look out for?

Is pgr any good?

IMO the top 3 racing games are: PGR, Rallisport, and Sega GT.
Rallisport should be out this spring and Sega GT at the end of the summer. I think it'll be worth the wait for GT.

Where are you getting the information regarding Sega GT 2002. I am really looking forward to this game. I hope it can compete with GT3.

i was the one that started that thread...when i didn't have an
xbox, now i bought one on thursday when it was released here
in uk. I bought 4 games and one of them. RSC!
Its amazing.
PGR is just eye candy on the movies bits, replays etc.
but apart from that it's nothing compared to RSC, also its a
different kind of race. I'd say pgc is 6/10 and RSC 9/10
