Lightbulb I found have the XBOX equation figured out!!!!

After months of pondering and seconds of research I Have answered my question to: "How many blocks are in the XBOX hard drive"? Well I will show you my calculations below

On the XBOX 1MB=62.75 blocks. I found this out by dividing 502 (blocks) by 8(mb) There for I multiplied 1000(mb) by 62.75(blocks) and then 62,750(blocks for every GB) by 8(GB)

    XBOX memory unit
    8MB / 502 blocks

    XBOX Hard Drive
    8GB (8000 MB) / 502,000 blocks

How come the XBOX doesn't tell you straight out that it has 502,000 blocks instead of 50,000+?

Tell me what you think. And if any one has taken there XBOX below 50,000+ tell me!!!!

You forgot to muiltiply 62,750 blocks by 8... cause there 62,750 blocks in 1 GIG... Is this right.. if it is ten there a total of 502,000 blocks

Snoopy is right, you didnt multiply again, instead you said "8GB(1000MB)" which we all know is wrong...but anywayyou forgot one KEY element...saving games and soundtracks isint 8MBS...the HD is partitioned, and you only get a little less than half that for game saves and such, which would be the "blocks"

LoL, through all this math stuff, this guy has deduced the best calculation of all "WHO CARES HOW MUCH MEMORY, IT STILL ROCKS" and he is exactly right, and thats all the calculatory advice that i'll need the next time i buy an XBOX game.

BTW, thanx for the heads up on the memory thing Seth, and all his math helpers

Its cool to be reminded how great our XBOX'es are now and then, just to re-assure us that we have made the best gaming console decision known to man!

Untill next time, the GRAVEDIGGER has spoken
