i just read a post by someone that said there is a place in the xbox dashboard in the video section that you can change the settings with 480p 720p and 1080i... i have never seen that, all i see in the video section is changing the screen format (letterbox, normal, widescreen) so.... whats the deal? do you guys see a resolution thing in your dashboard?




and if so, is it possible you only see that with an hdtv?

You'll only see it in the video setup if you have the HD Video pack with component video cables connected to the unit.

Yes. You need to have the Component Video adapter. It is pretty cool how the xbox can tell the difference between the type of connector you are using.
