    Question xbox live connectin problem

    hey every one i just started playing xbox live on my new xbox 360.
    i have a wireless thing that goes from the 360 to my wireless g broadband router and all of a sudden i have been getting bad xbox live problems... my xbox is down stairs and the router is upstairs (40-50 feet) and when i am on live my connection just all of a sudden drops ..... i experience a laggy game which is no fun
    does any one have any suggestions





    help me please this is making me mad

    i dont know anything about wireless but isnt 40-50 feet kinda on the outer limits of the signal?

    Most likely and the signal degrades tremendously when passing through multiple walls, bouncing off of metal plumbing and wiring. Floors are thicker than walls, so you loose a lot of signal through that too.

    This guy needs to move the router closer, or more in a direct line to his 360 with as few obstacles that he can get it.

    yea , on my xbox 360 menu it says that the connection to the wireless router is perfect
