Cool 'Xbox needs to be serviced'

My Xbox is giving me an error message saing"Xbox requires service, please call customer support" and that is as far as it gets. I called Customer service and they said to take it in for service, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm well if you have the guts, open the box up, and check if all cables are in tight.

thats not the best idea, seeing as how if he does do that, he'll void the warranty, and wont be able to take it in.

It appears that your original BIOS has been corrupted...There should be a numerical code in the upper right hand corner of the screen...
Youve got a gang of options...Buy a Torx screwdriver set and go for what you know...
You can go to some underground sites and find a repairer in your area...You can go on ebay and buy another box...Calling customer service will probably be your slowest (and most expensive) option...
You aint alone...I m still xbox2-less and rockin the original user friendlier box.
    Good luck!
