Your First Xbox Game Ever

I'll never forget it i was at toysrus at 430 in the morning about to recieve my xbox for the 1st time got in at 7am number 27 online.. i went in witht the intentions of buying one game... munches oddesey when i went in i figured i had an extra 100 on me started reading ... the back of the halo box ... i didnt know much about the game till i played it... and said it seemed interesting lol soooooooo i got it... so pretty much oddesey and halo

Went to ToyRUs on Yonge Street in T.O. (lived around the corner) at midnight on release day just to see what interesting stuff might be going on - I didn;t know much about XBOX except it was new. I waited in line for an hour to get in to see some games playing and....they didn;t have any games playing. So i figured I waited an hour so I bought XBOX with extra controller, Halo, PGR, (looked at Munch game cover and it did not interest me at all eventually bought it down the road - great game). Left the store with a very large bag at 1:30am and started walking home and lots of scary people who looked like they would really like to have my XBOX for free, so I nabbed a cab. Got home and played PGR for like 20mins, then popped in Halo for 10-15mins. I have to tell you, at first I wasn;t blown away that night. But the next couple of days I was really impressed - but it wasn;t until my friend came over (who doesn't even like games that much) and we played Halo co-op for hours straight that I and he were hooked.

That is my XBOX story and I still have the original XBOX to this day with a total of 80 of the best and rare games which I play regularly.

Next time I will tell you about my Max Payne Christmas story.

LOL oh man i forgot about the demo disk lol... is oxm still doing that i still have the first demo disk with the old school footage.... i wish i could run it on my 360... just to relive memories....

Let's see I got my Xbox the day it came out with Halo, PGR and DOA3. I know PGR was first in the Xbox, I love racers, then DOA3, which I beat the tar out of, and then Halo. Almost didn't get Halo at first, I wasn't a big FPS fan then, but the clerk was a friend of mine and talked me into it. I didn't know what I was missing. All great games. Too bad that they won't be making any more Xbox games. Don't get me wrong I love my 360 but I would've liked to see what the programmers would have done with Xbox now knowing what they know.
