Thread: Halo 3 NAT Issues!

  1. #1

    Default Halo 3 NAT Issues!

I am going to start this thread because im sick of other people and their routers being restricted soo much. Mine is OPEN NAT so its totally flexible. If your error message says
strict or moderate that means your router doesnt have all the stuff open that it should.

I will try my best to help people out as much as I can with this. I will try and make a guide too.

Mine is also wide open - it's a "slut" router, if you will.

At any electronics retailer. On the box, it will have a logo saying that it is XBox Live certified. You can also look on XBox.com and get a list of what routers are certified. There's a ton of them. Mine said it on the packaging.

My router is compatible. I just found out that there have been problems with my router and XboxLive. Damn.

I have a DL-514 which is XboX compatible.. Dlink so far is the easiest for someone by themselves to just go in and check off some options. Linksys can be a bit more tricky.

Best off is to call in to support and have them help you if you have issues.

Open Nat is the best.. anything else is just crap.. Either your Router is a whore or not..
