Microsoft says Xbox scratching won't force recall in Japan

um...don't the instructions on the XBox say to not stand it on it's side? (i could be wrong, but i thought that was in the instructions) If it was, then MS is in it's right since it is the consumer's fault for not following the safety instructions.

What is the big deal with puting your *** PS2 on it's side? So when it falls over and smashes into a billion peicies you can go buy an Xbox like you should have in the first place? Yup, thats it!
