No, they're not individually numbered. They're all the same - even the fake ones look pretty much exactly like the real ones. Its just the packaging. On the real ones, it says "Not for retail sale" in small black print near the bottom. On the fake ones it says the same thing at the top in a big green dot.
I meant no disrespect. It is the by far the best one out there and props to the person who put the time and effort into it. I just want to let anybody new know that they will have to start with that and potentially supplement it with these forums. I don't think there's a "bootleg" PGR3 plate. I think there are the 700 that were given out at the event, and then there are the other promotional ones. The plates are identical. The packaging is different. There are more of the second than the first. If you have one of the 700 in a package, I'd recommend keeping it that way. If you have one of the others, it doens't matter too much whether you keep it packaged or open it.
You have to know that many of those 700 were opened, so the number of them left out there in the package has to be a lot smaller than that - maybe even as low as a couple hundred.

Hmmmm this is an interesting turn of events. Guess if I ever do manage to get one of the 700 one that is the only faceplate that I will never open. Eeeeeek maybe I don't want one then. I really do like to open mine

Well that's what I mean. I don't think there IS such a thing as a PGR3 knockoff. There are the limited ones and the promotional ones. The limited are more rare and more valuable, but the promotional ones aren't junk. They're still first party Microsoft plates.
Yeh i understand what your saying but i mean, i don't want to risk paying however much for the pgr3 faceplate to find out it's not 1 of the 700. They shud make it clearer

it is clear. just buy one packaged with no green dot at the top. end of story. and i also looked everywhere about the pgr plates because i have one on the way. i read somewhere else also that the new one is not fully carbon fiber and the RARE one is.

ya thats high but it matters on the number so if it was a number 5 out for the 5100 then that would go fer alot but ya thats pretty damn high also it could be fake bidders raising the price
