Seen this before?

two years ago Variation and myself where at PAX and after went to a different video game exhibit and we saw this 360 display. I had never seen a plate like this or have seen one again.

It looks like a plan white plate but if you look closer you can see it has a flap for each usb port on the front, not just one long one.

ya on JEJEJE's debug kit it has the same thing, the flaps come out so you can put usb stuff in

It's a Beta System, not a finally design. There are not write XBOX360 (1) and on the DVD face the writing is not engraved (2). This faceplate is not compatible with the actual xbox360

You need to get on the waiting list for that faceplate. Are you a faceplate collector if please show your collecting.

I want to be a collector its just i share my xbox wife my wife... thats right i said it my wife, and she does not want me to change the face plate, she is scared that something might go wrong with it, and to be honest i understand her side this is my 5 xbox since June 07, but i think i might start collecting them for real now, even if she never lets me put them on the stupid thing, or maybe i will just by a whole new xbox just for me, who knows??

Yeah, you won't see that plate or Xbox available for less than thousands of dollars, and probably never.

If hurting your console is a concern (it shouldn't be), there are people who sell cases by themselves. You could always buy an empty case or a non-repairable console to use for displaying your facepalates. Some people here hand them on walls, set them on shelves or even have custom display cases for them.

I was the Xbox rep for a while. Toys R Us stores had a dummy Xbox in their glass display cases. When they went to the R*Zone style of stores, we pulled them. I cut one up and kept one. When I ran a game store, we used the dummy case for displaying skins. I still have it with the DOA skin on it in my collection.
