It's too much if you have to let a bill go unpaid to have the money.
It's too much if you have to borrow the money or go into debt to get it (credit card, friend - whatever - and yeah, I've done that).
It's too much if you're going to stress out about spending that much money.

If you can't drop the money with a clear conscience, then it's too much money. Making a sacrifice to get a plate you really want is one thing, but sacrificing necessities makes it an addiction and you need to not be doing it.

its two much when my wife say's "that is too much for a faceplate" and then i give her the money and she buys a new 360 or ds lite game and everything is back to normal
