Ok I know I kept saying that I need to update my collection. Well folks today is your lucky day!!!! I took brand new pics of everything I have so far. Most of you should know what all the faceplates are but if you don't feel free to ask and I can tell you.

*NOTE* The black faceplate above the England one in the third pic is the Carbon Fiber one and the one below it is the one that came with my Elite. I just noticed that in the pic you can't really tell the difference. Just thought I would let ya all know incase somebody cares.

Ok these are the last faceplates that I got a while back but never put up pics. I finally got the box for my Spacey custom KOTOR faceplate as well as the figures. I didn't bother to show the faceplate with the box because it is shown in one of my other pics. Both the Fable 2 and Gears of War faceplates are signed. Sorry for the horrid pics. I quick took them with my cell phone which is also why the Speedball faceplate it upside down. OOPS!

OMG I can't believe you just called my faceplate collection junk! Those are fighting words


The only reason I did the placeholders is because I wasn't sure how many spots I would need. I wanted my pics to be uninterrupted by other peoples posts. I did six spots just to be safe. Plus when I get more I can just continue on in this thread. I can squeeze 12 more pics in yet.

I knew you had a few rare ones but you had more than I expected, like the Prey plate, and that red one with the two white stripes. I've seen that in marketing photos but have never actually seen one (ditto for the checkered plate).

Thanks, they are my favorite sheets. They are so soft and comfy. I love them but they are starting to fall apart a little.

Good gravy! That is a sick collection. I bow to your greatness. I live on an island and only one store sold plates (they don't anymore). So I have to drive 200 miles to a store that sells them or get the scraps online. A community like this lets me see what's out there and I am thankful for all of you guys(and gals)!

i saw: this faceplate PREY. i like... but where ????? oft i search and not found for 2 year over faceplate PREY.

i have one faceplate ERAGON for my collector. hard to find !!!

WOW yeah who did you have to kill to get that prey faceplate, that’s a pretty sweet achievement, way better then a moto 06 or global support plate imo, mostly cuz its actually cool hehe, oh your Korean Launch plate is pretty sweet too

Thank you all for your praises I have put a lot of time, effort and money into this crazy collection of mine. It went from owning Viva Pinata, Full Auto, and the Outfit to what you see above. Actually props to Spacey. Had it not been for him I probably wouldn't even be collecting these. I only really became obsessed after I stumbled onto his eBay auction for the custom Space Ghost faceplate almost a year ago. That was kinda the gateway into the whole faceplate collecting thing for me, it was what started it all.


Anyway as for the questions about the Prey faceplate, I just got lucky. Seriously lucky. I bought a faceplate off eBay and ended up talking some with the seller. Turns out he was in the gaming industry and said if there was something specific I was looking for to feel free to ask. I was joking around when I said Prey. Well he looked into it and amazingly enough found some. Then my extra friendly talkativeness kinda got me in trouble. He didn't even know that there was a market for faceplates. I rambled on and on about this site and faceplates and then I mentioned the auction for the X-Men faceplate that I lost. Well he looked that up and offered the exact plate I had asked for to goldeneyez. So he sold one to him. I was sooo heartbroken about that but then to my amazement he got 2 more. One was sold to me and the other went to somebody else who won another one of his auctions. I have asked about a few other hard to find faceplates but he hasn't been able to find anything. So the moral of this story is don't be afraid to ask for stuff. Alot of the faceplates I have came from international sellers who I had to beg and plead with to ship to the US. If you are friendly and nice and aren't afraid to ask questions no matter how unrealistic they seem (and it doesn't hurt when your screen name is moltenluv ) you never know what might happen.
