    According to various web sites, you need to format the memory stick or hard disk to "HFS+", it seems to be a native MacIntosh format. Go figure.

    If only Microsoft would support NTFS, we wouldn't be having this thread.

    Codecs have nothing with the FAT32 - 4 Gigabyte file size limit. Hell, I've seen Xvid and DivX files over 4GB.

    Anyways...here are ways to get around the file size limit.

    1. Put your +4 GB file on a network server and you stream it. You probably need a 100 megabit LAN for that.
    2. Format your USB device MAC HFS+ file system, it should see the larger file sizes
    3. Use a dual layer DVD and put your file on it.
