**EDIT** SEE THE END OF THE THREAD FOR THE MOST RECENT UPDATE. THANK YOU
It's mid-November, and it's come to our attention that there are a couple of issues with the database. The owner did an upgrade to the site software and it has clashed with a couple of things related to the database. Specifically, it's related to the rollout of the New Xbox Experience and the size of the images and how they fit onto the site.
All that to say, we know there are issues. Right now is mega-game time, ans I'm sure your wallets know. Staff is up to their Ray Ban's in game reviews right now. They ask that we be patient until early December when game releases basically stop. Then I will be able to add new plates and edit existing plates. Plus we'll get the thing fixed that attributes plates incorrectly to errant forum members.
Anyway, since I have your attention... we're going to give a few faceplates away in December. Why should Santa have all the fun?
Nothing is in stone yet, but I wanted to whet your appetite a bit. Some of the plates we'll be stickin' in your stockin' include:
- Two Supreme Commander plates (only 250 were made, and these are coming straight from Jacob at Aspyr!)
- A number of Call of Duty 4 and Yellow Naruto: Rise of a Ninja plates.
- An E305 plate or two.
- Hopefully some additional surprises. You'll know when I know.
Anyway, to maintain the goodwill with our developers and PR people, please check out the websites for these games. Depending on how we decide to do the contest, we may require proof that you downloaded and played the demo for these games. I've got a little research to do before I make that call though, so hang tight.
In the meantime, DO please check out the Supreme Commander site at:

Aspyr was very gracious in donating these super-limited plates to us. Wanna know what's cool? In their efforts scouring the web, they had already learned about us from a Supreme Commander thread a while back. To make a point: What we say and what we do DOES get back to the developers. We hope that they see our main goals, not just to add to our collections but to help them promote their games and through that, encourage them to ALWAYS choose faceplates as a way to spend their marketing dollars.
