Help Genmas Stuck!!!

Help me I've opened the stone gate with the decorated sword I'm in this house or whatever it is, one of the doors "lock is broken" I've open the bridge with the arrow and got the journal and the magic jewel I've opened the green door the 3 crystals on it with the sword got the stuff off the roof and have the East Map and the the book. Now I've on the otherside where the fishes are the door is locked and there's a fence which looks like I should chop it but nothing happens I'm stuck here and I'm fed up
Please can you help me as this game is doing a very good job of being a plate in a greek wedding

And yes the girl with the rather long nails is still hanging around and is still giving me love bites on my neck

but it's cheating a bit, but what the hell I'll have a look only to find out what I'm doing wrong (yeah right..) and take a closer look at some other suff has well hehehehe
