My guess is sweepstakes/charity. I think if MS wanted this to be a retail product we would have heard some major announcements about it.

It's the prize of a contest. It'll be given away at PAX 2011 at the Warner Bros booth. You just need to register there. Of course, you need to go at pax 2011 first... And you need to be very lucky...



Also, the limited Kinect + console themed + Star wars has been delayed ultil next year and not this christmas...

apparently there is also going to be a contest through xbox for one of those consoles. this way if you couldn't make it to PAX you still had a chance to try to win one.

I would expect more to be made though. The Beatles 360 was for sweepstakes AND charity but I believe they made more than what was given away in these. So I would expect some to pop up on Ebay.
