Hmm... I'm not sure about the heartstrings one. I like the leaves, but it needs to be lighter.

James Bond is most definitely not public domain. Some combination of United Artists and MGM owns the rights.

I know there are political pictures that are PD, but it's so hard to tell because marketing organizations make stuff up and it doesn't go into the public domain just because the President is a visible public entity. I don't want to use a picture from Associated Press and not know it, or use the "O" and find out someone owns that logo.

I looked under wiki public domain photos and they listed some sites, but even then, while the images are free, some of the places charge you to ACCESS the images, or only give out lo-res images. These have to be hi-res to work.

Read a little bit there and it will explain about public domain and free use issues, better than I can explain it.

That orange Bond is a damn cool picture, though. The girl, too.

Just be careful not to push the envelop to much with the girls. I've already had to pull back some classic art because of nudity (Michelangelo's "David" for example). I'll probably still make one for me, because, you know, it's freakin' DAVID, but we won't be able to make it public.

Is the picture public domain? Meaning, the owner has approved of its free distribution and use in a "for profit" function?

Yeah, I really like that black one. I wanna go for the graffiti look though, just like the one you did earlier with the six letters across the whole plate. You can still work the logo on there somewhere though, or drop it.

I should clarify... I mean, I could do what you did there because you used assets that I have already. I'd like for you to do something that I can't, and that's the graffiti look.
