Wow is it me or has Modern Warefare 2 just scared off a bunch of titles?? Its seeming like companies are running for the hills.

i kinda think so to. i mean it might be a good idea to run for the hill. there no point of making a game come out. when no one buy it right. even if dark void was to come out. everyone would be to busy with M.W 2. so yea i think it a good idea to wait. i never even play M.W or WaW. so i doubt ill get M.W 2. so if a new game do come out. ill probably be like 1 of the 100 people who would forget about M.W 2 . and get the other new games

It was slated for Sept 22, so it was actually Halo that scared it off

Again, the less AAA titles this holiday the better, means it'll be spread out during 2010 and i can actually get some things finished this xmas

I don't see why they're jumping to 2010, or rather why so MANY are jumping to 2010, because they're just causing a new buildup for NEXT year.

well from a business standpoint it makes sense. Halo:ODST and MW2 are going to sell millions, so for a company to release their game this year means that they will not be able to generate as much potential profit as they would if those games were not coming out. plus like var said it gives developers time to put some polish on the title to make it even better.
