Net Connection

Does anyone have any details about the planned Net connection for the X-Box?

1. When is it supposed to be available?
2. Is it basically only going to be to play games via a net connection against other players with an X-Box (ie head to head racing)?
3. Will it be an ethernet connection that will take advantage of current cable net conections users may have (doubtful)?

The xbox has an ethernet port in the back that will allow dsl,cable connections. The online thing will get started this summer and will only be for online play not websurfing. Hope this helps.
