Thread: Charity Auctions - Nice Job!

Default Charity Auctions - Nice Job!

I donated a few signed plates to some friends in the Great White North at GoodGameMedia.com. Earlier this year I donated a 343 industries "Gray Team" autographed plate that raised over $150 for the Child's Play charity. This year, $464 was raised from our faceplates alone.

    Thanks to all who bid!

The money for these plates is going to Child's Play, too, and he can get the plates signed by people who worked on the game, if the winner wants them signed. You'll never see another auction like that, where one of the devs agrees to get them signed for you. How's you like an RDR plates signed TO YOU?

I've been to enough E3's and PAX's to know that there aren't enough people from the team at those events to get that done, so this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Yeah, I had a couple of unbelievable plate deals that didn't close.

(I think they're all buying consoles for $3,000 a pop, lol)

Cool. I haven't added the unsigned faceplates to the database yet. I need good pics of the signed plates and I'll add them both.

He had them listed last time with a $599 starting bid for everything but they weren't signed and the game wasn't part of it.

I'm not looking for buy out price.
It is charity auction (the start price will be the same $599), included: 4 signed faceplates, signed game, limited editions: soap, dice and cards all Red Dead Redemption branded ( original items, not fakes) ... the auction will go life tonight ... sorry for the delay

The faceplates have been sold, paid for and shipped. 100% of the auction proceedings ... ~$600 will be donated to Child's Play.

Thanks again to SpaceGhost2K-XBA and www.xboxaddict.com for the initiative.

I'll be auctioning some more video game memorabilia (not faceplates) ... signed games, post cards and rare video game stuff for Child's Play ... with the goal to have at least one auction per month with awesome(mean rare) item 100% dedicated to Child's Play.

The next charity auction will start in the first week (next week) of Jan 2011.

I was watching it. That was cool. That was as much as all the plates I donated to Good Games Media all in one auction.
