if it would be it would prolly be to add more games to the launch list...cause it kinda looks bad if you only release 2 games...

SUPPOSEDLY its more than 2, 2 is the number of first party titles it will have at launch, but im thinkin it will only have 2

well...it's been delayed to Nov. 18 if I remember correctly..

and there ARE more than 2 launch titles...I count 13 from IGN's release list including crazy taxi, XG3, luigi's mansion, and waverace to name some of the more popular titles, and one more the day afterward, Pikmin, to which I admit I'm looking forward to.

then in about a week, one more (FIFA 2002), then in about 2 weeks, 2 more (SSB2 and Eternal Darkness)

I'm not that perturbed about the delay...I can wait another two weeks I suppose, and I'm hoping I can get it as a holiday present instead of buying it myself or something, so a few week's delay isn't that big of a deal for me.

now..pardon me for turning the tables, but what happened about the rumors of an Xbox delay? wasn't there some manufacturing problem or soemthing awhile back?

from the IGNxbox FAQ:

While no specific titles have been confirmed for the actual day and date of the launch, Microsoft has stated they're seeking to have somewhere between 12-20 titles on store shelves the day the Xbox hits the shelves, with upwards of 30+ titles in stores by the end of 2001.

36...at launch wow and about ign there always wrong about release date or atleast from my experiances they were wrong i still say 2 game at launch for GC

its possible the two you're thinking of are the two first party games. There are those two, plus about 10 2nd/3rd party games if I remember correctly off the top of my head.
