Default Be honest... am I weird for this?

Okay lots of gamers take good care of their games & systems. I, however, think I take it on a new level: I have this phobia of letting the clear plastic cover on Xbox game cases get scratches. I notice when you stack 2 DVD game cases on top of each other, or even put one a table, it gets FULL of scratches that are especially noticeable in a lighted room. I know, its just the plastic. But it makes me feel upset and makes me feel like my games are... ugly? I dunno, LOL

    Opinions?

    Default Cheap crack=bad

Stay off the cheap crack please. Gets you paranoid.

I don't think it matters since no one else notices it. You aren't gonna die if it gets scratched. You must of had some bad experiences as a child with dvd cases. We're here to listen

As an extension of DOOM's advise on reading the link, you might want to check out the film "As Good As It Gets" with Jack Nickelson. It might help you even better understand yourself.

LOL! I'm just like you. I noticed the same thing when I put my games on top of my tv. They got really scratched and I got ****ed. I didn't want my cases looking scratched either so I don't keep them on my tv any more.

I don't think your weird..I think you are compulsive though. I wouldn't let it worry you so much about the outer cover getting scratched as much as worry about the disc itself.

hey, its cool xboxxtremist...i even take care of the xbox jewel on the xbox and on the controller...whenever someone uses it, i have to wipe it constantly with a soft cloth so that no scratches get on it...also, i cover my xbox with my old shirt so that it doesn't collect dust...it's not that we're weird...we just like to take care of what we hold dear..just like a mother would protect her child

ok maybe not...but still, just goes to show our addiction for the xbox

It sounds a little compulsive like most everyone else said. But hey if you're happy and it doesn't interfere with your daily life to the point where U can't function normally then I say have at it.

Don't you have better things to do than just sit around and make sure the plastic on your Xbox DVD cases stay in good condition?

Maybe XboXtremist is just a bit meticulous and likes his possesions clean and perfect. Theres nothing wrong with that. It doesn't mean u have OCD. I find little things to be annoying a lot, but then I just forget about them and don't care. XboXtremist will probably do the same thing.
