    Default Hunter, Balder's Gate

Folks, you really have to wonder if they are ever going to come out, period. Interplay has received notice from NASDAQ that their stock is going to be delisted in 90 days if it does not go above $3.00 per share. The notice was dated Feb. 11. So May is the drop dead month for Interplay. Stock price as of close on March 18, 2002 was $0.47. Now how can they raise the stock price, if no games come out?

OK, so what happens when the stock gets delisted? Bad news folks. Microsoft has been negotiating to buy Shiny, but that has not happened yet. Look for Sony to put in an appearance in the Interplay death-rattle sweepstakes, but don't be looking for either Balder's Gate or Hunter anytime soon. Sorry folks

MS and Sony buy developers, not publishers.
