I can't help you about what Gamespy is doing, however, I know how you can get your IP address.

To get your IP address, go to the Start button...select run. Type in the letters "cmd" and hit okay. A DOS screen will pop up and simply type in "ipconfig" and hit enter. Listed is your IP address

Maximus, I didn't know you run a NT based operating system.

Anyways for Win9x or WinME instead of typing "cmd" type "command" or go to start -> run type "winipcfg" and select your ethernet card. It will show your IP address as well as other goodies.

I use NT at work and XP at home
