Xbox2 info already?? Uh....

After reading the front page I had to say I was impressed to see information about xbox2 and that microsoft wants to stay involved in gaming consoles, but doesn't this seem sorta early for information to be leaking out?
For me personally, I've spent over $500 on xbox stuff and the last thing I want to hear is the next xbox machine in development that Im going to have to purchase. What do you all think about this?

yeah.. there are tons of rumours and "leaks" about Xbox2.

What the hell is going on??? I wouldnt expect any Xbox2 news for another 48 months!

If they are going to release another Xbox in 2 years, SCREW IT, I will get a PS3, or a Gamecube.

Calm down people.

When the PS2 was released, many people were already talking about PS3. It's common knowledge. Microsoft isn't going to release another console for a while yet. When they do, assuming they do, it will be at the same time as the PS3, or maybe a year later if they keep their trend going. You won't have to worry about it for a while.

thats the year I graduate from highschool! But I dont expect it till 2006-7. I am planning on taking my xbox to college with me in MY NEW NAKI CARRYING CASE! If they do come out with a new console every year I think ill wait for xbox 3 or 4

Consoles usually come out every 5 years so I'd expect XBox 2 to come out in 2006 or early 2007
