Ripping songs to harddrive

i just tried to upload some songs onto my xbox hard drive and it doesn't recognize burned cd's. is this happening to everyone, it sucks cause i would like to be able to upload my mixes but now i'd hafta get each separate cd

Make sure U are using a CDRW disk and not a CDR. The Xbox won't recognize CDRs.

Also make sure you leave a 2 second gap between songs. Most software does this by default but there are few that don't
