Tekki looks like an amazing game...when we all thought the XBox couldn't get any better, then, Tekki comes along! Wow! I definately want to get this when it comes out...

But, I wonder how my wife will react when I plot this big ass controller taking up my entire coffee table....she already thinks I'm a nerd for being into games as much as I am....but, I may be promoted to seriously dork after I get this!! I can't wait to be promoted!!!

According to GameSpot it sounds like its coming to the states. Let's just pray!!! With this controller, I think you need more than one person to controll the mech. A Gunner, driver, navigator. hehe

Developers should use this controller, Bandai should really take a look at it. It would be sweet to see one of there Gundam games use it. It would come with some cardboard panels to put on top of the controller to mark what that button or what each dial does. That would be freakin Sweet.

Found an up-date: Tekki In Talks For Europe: Controller price at £80 to £120?

According to Capcom staffers, discussions are now ongoing as to the future of Xbox mech game Tekki outside of Japan, with a decision yet to be made on a European release. Stories emerged over the weekend saying that a US version is a practical certainty, despite the fact that the title is controlled by a 40-button hunk of plastic the size of your house.

Rumours are now emerging that Tekki – a name change is certain if the game is to release on the Continent – will make retail outside Japan without the Best Controller Ever Made, meaning you'll probably have to drive your mech with the normal Xbox pad. Boo. You should be thankful: estimates for the monster controller in Europe are swinging from £80 to £120. Read that last bit again. All sounds a bit Samba de Amigo, doesn't it?

The game was one of three exclusive Xbox titles announced by Capcom at last year's E3, the other two being Genma Onimusha and Dino Crisis 3. Originally titled Brainbox, the game caused something of a sensation when Capcom showed off the action blaster last month, revealing a mammoth controller and some genuinely magnificent visuals. Huge joysticks with pedals are so the way forward.

More on this soon. In the meantime, close your eyes and imagine sitting in front of a huge dashboard bristling with buttons. Mint...

    That's $114-$171 U.S.D.
I assume that price does not include the price of the game, which means the package would be $165-$220. That is along the lines of what I would expect.

I'm not happy about the controller possibly not being available outside of Japan. I don't want to be forced to import the controller...but I will.

Can you say Military recruiting tank drivers?

Looks very cool but a little much for me to spend. But I like to see companies take chances like this. The game better be long.
