There are a few of them that I can tell right off aren't in there yet. Some of them are in my "to do" file and others are new to me.
I am sure that Mad Catz makes official plates for every major league team, even if they only have six or eight available on their site, and no NBA plates. The Mar Catz guy has been really hard to get a hold of though.
OMG hellonearth where did you get that tom Clancy 10 years of gaming plate i so badly want this.
As you may know I really want all of the tom Clancy faceplate's and this one will be the main plate and that's top of my wish-list.
From ebay...see PM
It's a custom faceplate by ebay seller Jcopp. I got it last October.
Sorry I don't have more info about it.
Can you get me a bigger picture of it? I'll use this one for right now and just replace it, so no time pressure or anything.
Now that I am up to date with plates to be added, I have to go through all of my additional photos and add those where appropriate. I have over 600 "additional" pics. Some are pics of the plates in their packaging. Others are plates on display, so even though it's one photo, it has to be attached to however many plates are in the pic.
Spacy,
Now that you're done, can I also suggest you give each plate a number? It would make it easier to refer to the plate number instead of the name. I think I can get you better pics for some of the plates in the DB.
I can ask Kamshaft to add that to the database, but there's a couple of reasons why we didn't do it. Every plate actually does have a number, but there's a reason we don't show it.
Let's say I add ten plates, and then have to go back and delete #7 because I didn't catch that I already put it in at #4. The #7 then will never have a plate in it, because then next plate I add will be #11. It won't go back and fill #7's hole.
That means if you're looking at a list, it would go: 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10... We'd get people wondering what happened to #7. ALL. THE. TIME.
And if we remove #7 and just shove everything forward, it would screw up every number after the one we deleted. You could tell everybody you made #38 and then find out that it's not #38 anymore.
The last plate I added (which I just fixed with the new picture, by the way, and thank you), is the 1410th plate, but its ID number is actually ID #1440. Over 1,500 faceplates, there are 30 that were deleted for one reason or another.
If we do show the numbers, then people will ask why we have 1410 plates but the last one is numbered #1440.
the odst faceplates looking good!
Here are a couple of new items from the recent Childs Play charity auction:
A promotional ODST "The Rookie" Mcfarlane Toys figure signed by Bungie Studio members.(Joe Staten, Lars Bakken, Vic DeLeon, C J Cowan, and others.)
A Halo 3 edition Xbox 360 faceplate signed by Bungie Studios
A hand painted ODST Xbox 360 faceplate by Roosterteeth comic artist Luke Mckay.(Signed by Luke on the rear of the faceplate.)
It's been over a year since I posted new faceplate pictures. One of these days I'll take out my faceplates from storage and take new pictures but in the mean time, I wanted to share some pictures of controller faceplates. In general, I collect any product made to promote a video game.
