Has anyone had any luck in getting xbox Live to work with a wireless network. I can't get any help from MS tech. supt.

My thought was using a linksys access point with their wireless USB ethernet card and also using a USB to ethernet conversion cable to plug into the back of the xbox.

Well, what I have is a Linksys Wireless "Adapter" that plugs into USB, which allows me to connect to my wireless network. Then I have a NIC in my PC in which I connect my Xbox too. I then share the "Wireless" connection with the LAN connection to the Xbox and it seems to be working fine.

Warning however, Wireless gives you crappy online play :-/ The data stream is too sporadic

Are you using it for xbox live or gamespy or xboxconnect? If it is for live, I don't see how the connection is wireless and would work.

Xbox Live

I have my PC NIC attached to a HUB, and the Xbox attached to the HUB. The PC sees the Xbox as another computer on the network, and I share the internet connection (My computer is acting as the router). Xbox is then granted full connectivity to the internet.

Well, if you want to completely wirelessly connect your Xbox this is the only way.
1. Buy a wireless access point
2. Buy a wireless cable/dsl router

First step: Attach the wireless accesspoint to a HUB and then to your Xbox

Second step: Attach the Wireless Cable/DSL router to your Cable(or DSL modem).

Wala...
