Tecmo Bowl is only the coolest game us 30 year+ gamers got our hands on back in the 80's! We played with Bo Jackson and kicked butt! It was on the NES.

Tecmo bowl was one of the FUNNEST (read: FUN, not best graphicaly, most realistic, best feaure, but just plain FUN!) football games of all time!

bo jackson rocked, so did kevin mack, and mike singletary, but you can have anyone you want if i can have san francisco. they had a play that was unstoppable. it was a down and slant in. even with singletary knowing exactly where it was coming, he could only stop it about once every hundred times. i used to march up and down the field on people. i'd use it until they committed themselves to trying to stop it, then go deep to jerry rice...
what a great game!!!
