Overall: This game overall satisfied me for anything Mortal Kombat. I'll admit that the Teen rating and less gore made me angry at first, but you have to think for a second. If you want to introduce a new game to the new generation, it has to be rated less than Mature. Plus, they had to get confirmation from the DC Comics and they obviously don't incorporate a lot of blood in their merchandise. The story could have been more well-thought out, but the gameplay, combos, achievements and 3-D graphics really made it worthwhile. Online can be laggy but the designers have made it to where you aren't reduced to spawning the same move over and over like most MK online games. I was very impressed with some of the difficulty in achievements and the pro's that love to memorize and strategize with combos and love to better themselves, (like myself), to where it really showed where you stand skill-wise. Me being the MK lover I am, I can cleanly say, for a remake and add on to please the crowd, this game succeeds. Two thumbs up.
