Description

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is a 3rd person action-adventure game based on the successful cult series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Just like the show, the adventure takes place at ground zero for all things vampire – Sunnydale, California. Developed with the show's writers as a 'lost episode' from season 5, Chaos Bleeds involves an unraveling tale in which a dimensional bleed has been enabled by Pure Evil to consume humanity once and for all. It's up to Buffy and her friends to stop it all from happening...again!

Overall: Buffy: Chaso Bleeds trys to recreate the orignal experience & add some multiplayer for extra enjoyness. What it does is give u a meidiocre multiplayer & doesnt add enough new enemies for the 2nd game. You will go through the game killing vampires that all look alike. Except for other demons & bosses theres about 4 different looking vampires & sometimes the only thing changed is hair color. Multiplayer is ok but maps are very small, so theres not any exploring. While Buffy: CB is very fun & its also very annoying. Theres no checkpoints so u find yourself playing for 2 hours just trying to finish 1 level. Puzzeles are simple. find the key etc. Few more combo moves this time around make it enjoyable. Throughout the game u unlock items like Movies, New Multiplayer Maps & Characters. Buffy: Chaos Bleeds is a great brawler but those who have the 1st might want to wait for a price drop. Its not really worth $50. Die hard fans like me though should rish now. I Still think this is one of the Best Brawlers it just needs some flaws fixed.
Gameplay: Fighting is pretty simple, but if u want to make it interesting its good to use combos. Willow relies mainly on magic & Xander relies mainly on far weapons like a Squirt Guns full of Holy Water or uses heavy weapons like an Axe. The gameplay is still like 1 but thats good.
Graphics: While I dont think its any better looking then 1 but u can just figure that considering this time they also wanted it on PS2. I would have really like to c it XB Only again so the grpahics could improve.
Sound: Once again Sarah Michelle Gellar doesnt lend her voice but still the substitute does a good job. but James Marsters (Spike), Xander (Nicholas Brendon) & Anthony Michael Head (Giles) are all there though.
Suggestions: The multiplayer in #1 was better. The levles were a lot bigger. Plus dont make all the vamps look alike. Dont change the contols but add more combos. & make it XB exclusive id really like 2 c what the XB can handle, i know it can do better.

Overall: Excellent. An improvement over last years game, which was always going to be difficult. A wonder to behold......
Gameplay: Same as last years, only with more characters to play as , more weapons and a better script. Also, the bonus features are GREAT !.
Graphics: Again, an improvement over last years version. The camera is closer, still 3rd person, but closer than last years, making detail stand out more. Excellent !
Sound: Anthony Stewart Head, Nicholas Brendon , James Marsters and Amber Benson all lend their vocal talents, giving a real FEEL for the game. Sound effects are top notch too. Great !
Suggestions: sort that bloody camera out !

Overall: Who hasn't heard of Buffy before? A teenager with super strength which she uses to kick demon butt! Sadly for the fans the TV series has stopped but this game could keep the action alive for a bit longer.
And for those poor chaps that don't know about Buffy the Vampire slayer series? This could still be a very nice game to enjoy!
Gameplay: Kick-ass moves... to much to ever remember. And that with multiple characters: Buffy, Spike, Willow, Xander and Sid the dummy.
Each one with his/hers own strengths and style.
Multi-player is a big plus, even though i expected more of it.
Graphics: Graphics are pretty good.
Some of the animations are a bit less sharp looking than in the previous Buffy game, for example when staking a vampire.
Environments are looking great.
Characters could have looked better, i wouldn't recognize Willow if i didn't know she was in this game!
Sound: Sounds are pretty good. Less repetitive sentences but some ripped from the previous game.
Sadly enough no Dolby Digital.
And Willow sounds like she's being strangled by a vampire... Damn!

Suggestions: More multi-player! Make large levels so u must find each other. Think Slayer(s) looking for vampires, Vampires (also players) looking for food (NPC's) And then using system links or even Live.

And tell Willow not to torch my !&%$@#* all the time when i'm beating up sum demons. That's nasty girl!
